After an abortive attempt earlier in the week when I managed to break the antenna array when leaving my driveway, today was the first successful sailing of RTTL 2748.
Apart from managing to connect the ESC to the motor the wrong way so the throttle controls were reversed (easily rectified!) the first trip out was a great success.
The water cooling outlet needs to be moved to the stern, the water pump is very efficient but the outlet from the side of the hull looks ridiculous. I need to move the ESC to the port side as there is a slight list to starboard. Now I know everything works I'll experiment with different props and will try a 3S LiPo as I think the hull can go faster.
She looks great on the water, manoeuvres easily, so very happy with the boat.
