Hallo all, I am a new member here, I would like to start by showing this Thames River Workboat built from James Pottinger plans .....

    Nice planking, what did you use for caulking?

    What is the date of the mag that the plan was in, that's if it was in the magazine 😁

    Afternoon, ( morning here in Ca. )...
    No caulking, painted the plank sides black;
    Got the plans from Cornwall Models ..

    She has sailed, has an MFA 500 motor.

    I wish I could post more than 4 photo's !

Removable Interior

    You have to be congratulated. There are so many plastic boats that it is good to see a plank-on-frame one, especially one that appears well made!

I am one of a few here in the US trying to re-vitalize the wood boat model building art.
Here are a few more pictures, the removable interior has lots of small wood and brass bits, some of the brass was got from a company in Vancouver, Washington called Wet Goose Fittings.

The brass parts are shown new here, they will be treated with chemicals that with weather / tarnish them as they would be on a real boat.
