This is a kit that I have recently bought from Germany. I am returning to model boat building after a long period of model railway activity.
The "Lisa M" is a very attractive small motor cruiser in 1/25th scale, and I am looking forward to a satisfying build.

Hello I have just purchased this kit and was wondering if you have the boat finished yet this is the first boat I will have built ! And I am finding the instructions a bit daunting did not realise I had to cut the hull down, also the instructions do not marry up to the box contents

Well, it's a start! That's the stand built, and the hull marked for the prop shaft and rudder tube.
If anyone else needs the English version of the instructions, contact me!

First things first - the kit was bought from the German shop Staufenbiel, http://www.modellhobby.de/?shop=k_staufenb_e - because the price was excellent - under £90 and no postage charge. it arrived within 3 days, too!
The only problem I encountered at first was the fact that the instructions are all in German, and the photos on the photocopied sheets aren't very clear. Still, not to worry.
With the help of Google, I've translated everything and produced an English set that I have sent to the shop so they can include it with any future English orders they may get.
If anyone here wants a copy of the instructions, please contact me and I will forward them.
All I've done so far is to study everything carefully and make the boat stand. More to come!

The hull was marked for trimming down - there's an awful lot of excess, so I'll keep it to reinforce the inside of the hull later.

Then the scary bit - cutting off the excess.

The deck sits nicely in the "shelf"

There's a set of wood strips to fit round the underside of the opening in the deck:

Then the coaming is attached to the inside of the lip (see diagram in next post)

Here's how the coaming attaches

The rudder mount is made out of three pieces of wood glued to the tube. in the event, I decided to reinforce it with extra wood.
