After a few distractions, managed to get Swallow afloat and she sailed quite well. After the first sail, I realised that the lead ballast needed to be moved slightly aft and now seems in the right place.

The model is clearly for use in light winds, especially as it an open boat, which if swamped would sink, so I’m currently considering making some removable buoyancy made from balsa wood. It now just needs a crew, if anyone knows where I can obtain miniature models of the Walker family?
