It looks like the jib is just flying free on its boom on a tack? In slightly bigger boats, where they start to tack, you can hold the jib aback, i.e. do not let it swing across as you tack. By holding the jib aback, the wind gets on the wrong side of the sail and helps push the bow round. When round far enough to let the wind onto the right side of the sail, and the boat is pointing in roughly the right direction, you let the sheet holding the jib aback go, and then haul it in on the right side for the wind. With such a small boat this might not work, but too small a jib may look wrong, although from the pictures it looks like you could reduce the size of the jib and still keep appearances.

@Clockmaker It looks like the pivot on the jib might be too far forward? (75% of the jib boom?) Try moving the pivot to 70% or 66% of the jib boom. (move it back down the bow sprit too).The jib should go over first in a tack, but there is too much force on the rear of the jib, in your current form to allow it to swing over easily during a tack. On my RG65 the pivot is 16.5 cm from the end of a 25 cm boom, or 66% of the boom length
