A fellow in the model boat club started this build but did not finish.I was given the model to finish up. She's a scratch-built 34-inch x 11-inch beam with a prop shaft of about 11 inches.I needed to modify the cradle, as the stuffing box that sat on the cradle took about 3 inches off the stand. The rubber was also a little too long and I thought that I should cut it down a little. I think the model is based on an open-cockpit Catalina, an older Sterling-style model not sure I have no info on the make.

Your new model does look a lot like a Fairy Huntsman 31, but it does not have the classic "wrap-around" windscreen.
The near vertical flat windscreen does not look like it belongs with the boat, but with a change to a wrap-around type, it would look very much like a Huntsman.

Bob.
I've got the curved screen to make for a number of my builds and aren't looking forward to it!
