Got this old Lindbergh kit. Hacked outcome deck and made top deck removable after of wheelhouse. Added a carbon fiber rod to attach the paddles to. Added a belt drive n motor. Made a larger rudder n added servo. Did a lot of detailed parts. Held back on outer railings. I’ll glue the next two deck layers soon. Plenty of room for access to RC gear n battery. Plastic old n fragile but most was ok. It has very little draft so let’s see how it floats. If too bad I’ll add foam under bottom to get it level. Lots of rigging thread to do..

@jumpugly I will I’m trying to finish the 3d 1:72 boat. I need only put rudders n servo in. Also finishing two other boats n a Glencoe Voyager rocket. I have a lot of kits n aircraft or ships finished being for sale. Some on eBay n marketplace. Now also physically at Sublime Antiques in Holliston MA. So it clears shelf while waiting for a buyer. Im now cleaning up workroom n getting shelf space back. Still a lot to move out of workshop n make space. This not counting music n scifi Collectable. The last 30 years I occupied a lot of time building. Then would shelve them most never finished. I saw this at hobby hop n my son bought it for me. I have the Creole Wueen by Dumas 80% done ( on bench for years). I built a smaller plastic version years back. It’s at Antique store. So seeing this one I figured it’s big enough to RC. I had a spare geared motor from the Queen n belt pulley systems. It took a lot of cutting but I got the deck open to access motor. Anyway it’s been fun
