I made her Bow fender out of a jar gripper folded in half , because I didn't want to spend a bunch of time making a bow fender! maybe in the future I'll make one up. see the way I have her tied off the H bitt.

Have a look on ebay, there is a lady making them to order, just put model boat fenders, couple selling them, read the writeup and you will see the one for making to size
Well I found this bow fender on eBay, what do you guys think about it for my Tug? 👍 👎
Sorry, about the picture and it being pixelated! trust me the fender looks ten time better than the picture!

I just wanted to show my tow hook, its embedded in to the main cabin. I decided to do this when I noticed that the aft H bitt wasn't strong enough to handle towing. the H bitt can how ever handle on the hip towing!

OK, I'm going to take Serenity for her maiden voyage in about an hour or so. I'll be doing a video to document the voyage hopefully everything goes well! 👍

HI Ed, I am glad I could help, thats what this forum is all about, we all make mistakes or just dont know what to do, the final part is being able to see what we have helped to achieve, your tug on the water, BRILLIANT
Her Fantail is made up of plastic and wood! I decided to just glue 1/6" X 1/8" spruce. if you look at the stern shot you can see how snug a fit there is! do you see the escape hatch!

Not the neatest looking engine room but, I do know where everything is! Serenity is powered by separate batteries.
two lead acid 6.0 volt 2.5 amp 9 volt 3.0 volts X 2 one power pack 1.5X8=12 volts. she has quite a bit of weight also a lot of muscle!
As you can see I'm not worried about RFI! 😯
oh, I forgot the receiver pack 6.0 volts!

Hi Ed, I would shorten the red and black wires so there is enough for the job, they could cause interference, same with the switches, your pond was fairly big, maximum range is important, your radio system could "failsafe" and leave your tug stranded
Hi Mark, Thanks for the input I'm going to shorten up all the wires and I'm going to elevate the receiver above the deck in the main cabin also will be making a way for the antenna lead to be at it's highest point on Serenity!
Introducing my crew of gnomes, I found these at the local Dollar store!
I should of bought three packs instead of one.
at least Serenity has some kind of crew!

I was looking at my new crew, I just noticed that one of my crew members is a different scale. it's at 1:50 instead of 1:32 it's not to bad of a difference. I'm just glad its the figure I inadvertently put as the captain! the only way you can tell is its about 5mm taller!
