More work on hull exterior.

Final sanding completed of hull. Primer coats and undercoat applied. Ready now for fitting of Rubbing Strips and Fender Strips.

Wheel House etc.

Working on Wheel House and upper cabin, Radar mast fitted and funnels constructed and installed. Diesel engine exhaust pipes yet to be built and fitted. Wheelhouse interior yet to be built.

    Re your query re the Pilipino wanting to source modelling supplies. Unfortunately our local store where I purchased the Preiser models has closed his business. There are a couple of online suppliers in his region that I use for bits and pieces that he could try. "Hobby King" and "Singapore Hobbies" failing that he could Google in the item he is after by name and I'm sure he will come up with some answers.

    I have been away from this site for quite some time, I have just seen the SMIT OCEAN TUG. What an absolute work of superior craftsmanship, your attention to detail is amazing, sorry I gone on too long. Outstanding effort👍

    Thanks for that Greybeard !! I've not made anymore progress on my Smit Rotterdam for the past few months as I currently have a WW2 P47d ThunderBolt Airplane on my building table at the moment. Once I've built that I will be back on the Smit. 😁😎
