Free fall anchor winch, Maersk Topper, scale 1/50

My home made Free Fall anchor winch for my model Maersk Topper. The original design is made by http://www.ankerwinde.eu/de/ But My anchor and chain is to heavy so I adjusted the chain roller and extra guide rollers. First I made a test model to test of all modifications are really working.

    Hi,
    A very good prototype.
Looking forward to seeing the final winch.
    Well done.

    Brilliant👍
Just what I've been looking for for the anchor winch and (more importantly) the Rescue winch on the stern of my 1/72 destroyer.
What is the minimum weight to ensure the 'free fall'?
That was always my problem up to now.
The winches I have need something like a tin of baked beans hanging on them to make them run out.☹️
    Cheers, Doug 😎

part 2

The base plate has been enlarged in the new model.
The vertical base has been enlarged so that the guided rollers can also be mounted on this plate.

    Excellent stuff👍
Any particular reason to use PCB board instead of brass sheet?
    Weight? Cost?
Have you made a plan set by any chance?😉
Keep it up, Cheers, Doug 😎
BTW: How heavy is your anchor?
