I did not like the sails that came with this kit, so I made some new ones with room for hems and a bolt rope while keeping the full size of the sail area. The ladies at the fabric store were very helpful with their terrific ideas, materials, and construction hints. Consult the experts for success!

The temperature has warmed up, so I have started glassing the hull. I have been experimenting, and have found a way to apply a colored finish much like gelcoat.....but more durable. I will post the procedures in a later post.
