Scratch built Stevn's Arctic tug in the final stages

I restarted this build last August after receiving the 100mm Schottels from OceanWorks in Hong Kong.
She's been sat waiting for spray painting weather and finally this has arrived so tomorrow everything else will be on hold while I mask up repeatedly for paintwork.

There’s approaching 2,000 pictures in the gallery link.
A few pictures for now.

One of my finest achievements is the 36 windows hand made in 2mm plexiglass
Each one is finely shaped so they are dry fitted without glue.

Not what I’d planned

Sunny but cold wind so no painting today
More assembly of the superstructure instead

A bath of water doesn't figure in the bigger picture of 10 months work and well over a grand in materials and parts 😎
The UK has just experienced the wettest May on record so the plants are fed up 😂
