Colin thankyou so very much for your most kind words. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to catch up with you today it was a little manic.
But what a fabulous display. I will pass on your kind words to the membership.

I had a real good time and sailed my dads old boat for the first time, which was its first trip on water for 25 years. Thanks to the WMBC Members for making me feel welcome and for the advice, will now send in my membership as they are a great bunch with no pretensions. Thanks Colin.

Hi Ed, my nickname at work was 'The Old Sea Dog' cos I was the last founder member and pioneer of our Naval Comms Group. So my dear ol' Mum found me an appropriate baseball cap with exactly that on it! 😎

Brilliant! The wonders of modern comms!!!
In about an hour a guy in Connecticut USA can tell a guy in Leicester UK where to find a cuppa even thought he ain't never been there!! 👍👍👍
The sort of thing that makes my 45 years spent in design and development of comms system seem even more worthwhile. Luv it! 😎

Hopefully my old 34" fireboat. And my 60" launch CAROLINE. both are over 50 years old. And possibly still watertight. See them in my harbour. Caroline last sailed 1992 and fireboat 2010.
Thanks Colin.

As the first international Member of WMBC.
I guess I will have to say that, I'll be attending in spirit!
As I'm across the pond, but would love to be there so!
I would like for all the Members of WMBC to have a lot of fun.
