The event started almost as soon as the doors opened! there were plenty of people eager to grab an early bargain. Rod, from RG racing set his stall up with a lot of model boat spares, including his "home made" bronze props. we had a couple of other boat clubs set up a stall as well as a few individuals. There was a lot of interest in some of the boats and they proved the most popular sale item, "spares" seemed to be a slow seller !
I don't know if the rain put a lot off travelling, but being as the event was held indoors I did not see no reason why more people did not turn up.
Ah well, there's always another year.
I may be considering adding this to our clubs Annual Sailing regatta instead............... will be thinking on it for a while.
