King Lear Model Boat Club would like to Invite to the Fireboat funday/Vintage model boat day which will take place on the 8th September at King Lear Lake Watermead Country Park, Wanlip, Leicestershire. LE7 1PD.
We welcome you for an Informal and friendly event where like minded owners of model Fireboat /Vintage model boats can get together, so bring a boat and have a sail.
There are toilet facilities In the Country Park but no catering or cafe except for an Ice cream van, so bringing your own lunch Is recommended.
There are however two pubs within two miles of the Country Park where "pub grub" Is available.
Contact the club at (Email Removed - PM Only) for any further Information, further details about the club can be found on our website at www.kinglearmodelboatclub.co.uk and further Information can be found about Watermead County Park on their website at

There Is a £2.50 entry fee to the country park so please have the exact change ready as this Is paid to an unmanned machine which does not give change.
We have been asked If camping Is available so we will check with the county council to see If It can be arranged.
