I got it first try but I can’t take credit. I was talking about the wordle of the day when my wife and daughter asked what it was. I told them how it works, and that the answers are of a nautical nature, ships, sea, geography, history, etc. My wife, Teresa blurted out the answer as that’s her fave vacation destination, and she was right!!!🤣🤣

Usual 5er starter gave me first letter and a movable vowel.
As usual I jotted down the letters I had found and crossed out eliminated vowels..
Seeing them side by side woke up a few more little grey cells and BINGO!

Hi Colin,
I too used to do all my own repairs. But now since i have only one vehicle, truck, I have the dealer do them. You know how it is, as much as you might prepare in advance for the repair, you always need something else when in the midst of the repair. Now i only do my tractors mowers and the like. and the house.

Good morning Colin, hopefully you'll get the mot passed today. Not able to drive at the moment due to hospital errors and subsequent dvla revoking my licence. Hospital has admitted that they have got it wrong, so now battling with authority. Too add insult to injury, caught my eye on a bush so now nursing that. Enough of my groans and moans, I'll enjoy the weather and return to some building when I can see properly again. Have a great day whatever you guys and girls are up to. 9 hours to sort the rear brakes and hand brake (electronic operation failed) then bottom ball joints on front suspension.
Taking for retest tomorrow, thanks to the help of my son, I'll make a mechanic of him yet, my joints can't haulon the spanners like they used to.
Now for a pint of something cool then shower and bed.

At last a l thought I would need a clue as no letters in first 2 lines, then 3rd line I guessed it correctly.
That helps my day which so far has been a disaster.
Car failed it's mot, motor factors sent wrong parts, now waiting for my son to arrive with the correct parts.

Same starter technique as described below. Also I don't try to solve it quickly in one session.
If I have a few letters after 2 lines I stop, do something completely different for a while and let the back of my mind play around with them. Some letter combinations are not possible, esp with consonants. Some of the possible combinations are usually not usable cos one or more of it's letters has already been eliminated. Sometimes works better than others.
Today 2nd starter gave me the first and last letters and 1st line one other to move about.
