This is getting to be my new routine for starting the day. A large mug of coffee onto the computer, (not smart enough for a smartphone,) The daily Quiz followed by Wordel, and a positive result for both, mind Wordel was the fourth attempt with a batting average of 4.2. Regards, Gary.

Evening all, well I guess I've got a lot more time on my hands now for the daily quiz and wordle thanks to dvla.
At this rate I'll know the answers before they're printed 🙄

On a role today, got it in 😁

Today was a good day on the quizzing front as I managed to get both correct. On the Wordle, I used my surname, and lo and behold the first two letters were correct and in the correct order. Mind it still took three goes to get it right as there are so many four-letter words to choose from. Regards, Gary.

I knew I shouldn’t have started with BOAT, no useful characters there! Ended up taking 5 lines before I got it 🙈

Managed in 4 today 🙌 caffeine must be kicking in. Think it's time to get back to the garage 🤔

I really like these wordle thingies.
I am in UK at the moment Doug but the competition doesn’t know. Back home tomorrow. I will wave as we drive past Munich on Tuesday. Should take us about 24 hours on the road to get home. Channel Tunnel at 3. I will find time to do the comps.👍😊

Three goes to discover the relevant letters required, well at least five of them minus the Y, and the fourth attempt to arrange them in the correct order. this is getting to be a four-line habit. Definitely room for improvement and I am working on it. Regards, Gary.

So went guessing with E’s and U’s, often words end with ER, but still took me 3 more guesses before getting it right 🤣

I haven’t done better than five so far so I must be really thick. I avoid the clue though so I use that as an excuse.😬
