The African Queen

Here are a few photos of my nearly complete African Queen, 2 years In the making, she Is scratch built on a Kingston Mouldings hull. I have not used any plywood at all In the construction, timbers used being beech, oak, mahogony, and a little ramin and pine. Sge Is powered by a TVR 1A BB twin cylinder, double acting slide valve engine, with Hackworth reversing gear. Boiler Is a 3.5 Inch vertical from Macsteam. Nearly finished now, just the winch to make and a few bits of woodwork, followed by some rust and dirt and all will be ready for Lifeboat Day on the 27th of July.
If it don't fit, use a hammer to make it fit....
