Some exceptional sailing scenes in it - if you get chance it’s well worth watching

Comedy wise, Up The Creek and Murder Ahoy fit the bill nicely..

Das Boot is my favorite serialised TV movie. As regards movies propr, The Cruel Sea, Noel Coward's In Which We Serve and The Yangtze Incident are all top rankers...

Hi Pat, after Nick quoted the question taken from Hornblower, I searched for the series in Italian.
I had only seen sporadic scenes because (evidently) the search algorithm, understanding my interest in ships, proposed pertinent topics to me.
I managed to find the whole series and watched it on YouTube.
My opinion is very positive.
