HI Guys, thanks for hosting the steering comp. First time I have seen this event ,there was some good manoeuvring and some unlucky competitors who were hampered by the wind ,I enjoyed watching It and Intend to have a go. The club 500 racing was something else!!
Unfortunately one boat overturned and another was holed In the bow this club 500 looks expensive but serious fun.
On another point I notice that when a boat become dead In the water an easy recovery method would be to glue a small square of tin Inside the hull at Its widest point on the waterline area and the recovery boat I.e. your lifeboat I think It was to have one of these strong magnets disguised as a tyre hanging over the side so all one has to do Is to run up alongside the disabled boat and the magnet should do the rest, just a thought with just one boat having the magnet other wise complications could set In,i.e. fatal attraction. enjoy your website and keep em floating.
