Everyone has changed ranks, unfortunately it was necessary to re-jig the whole system. The majority of members will have gone down instead of up and it's merely the have a better distribution of members across the different rank levels.
You're certainly not the only one. I'm the admin and I've dropped right down to Warrant Officer, admin or not, I don't contribute nearly as much as other members, so it's only fair I drop down too 😌

Before I went on our nightmare of a holiday to Cyprus some 3 weeks ago today, I was an Admiral on the rankings, which I had worked hard to attain with helpful posts. I have come to look at the new forum format (which only partly works on my iPad, partly works on my Samsung tablet, and looking as though it actually works on my Samsung S9+), and I have been demoted to chief petty officer 1st class. I wondered why the demotion and how much I have to work to re-attain my previous rank ? Anyone else been demoted, or is it just me ? Best wishes, Dave W 🤔
