This was the first model I ever built, it never occurred to me that the wood might have already been treated, so I just gave it a coat of sealer anyway. She's a nice little boat but on our lake which is quite rough at times, I've had her swamped a couple of times. So, make sure the wheelhouse is held on with a screw or something and put as much flotation in the hull as possible.
