Loved the pond at Gorleston, did thousands of laps running around chasing my pond yacht , 1st 2 weeks in June, 1961/65. Fantastic holidays, hated the 6 hours to get there though, from Bolsover, Derbyshire.

Spooky !
The "Spooky" Halloween night sail took place on Sunday 29th October 2023.
Sorry for the poor video quality. Conditions were difficult in the "pitch dark " however, just for fun - it`s nice to have a record of the event than non at all. Commodore Barry says thanks to all who took part !.

Lights on the Mote
It was our club’s ‘lights on the Mote’ evening today. I think the day’s heavy rain kept many folk away but we did get a couple of hours where the weather was fairly clear. I took my Aeronaut Diva along, liberally decorated with cheap string lights that I got at Primark…

Renovation of a lovely old boat.
I decided to renovate a very old model Clyde harbour tug which belonged to my Dad. This has been in the family for over 80 years (Dad would have been 100 this year) and was in need of some TLC. It is now fully radio controlled and runs from 2 x 18650-2000mAh batteries. Length: 41cm, Beam:11cm, Draft: 6cm, weight: 1.5Kg.

According to the motor, ESC is underpowered. I needed at least A 60A ESC.
Here, let's have a look at it.

Hi Canabus. Thanks for this input. I went and checked out the Lesro Sportsman and the dimensions are a bit different... The Sportsman is 31" x 12" - This new model I have is 39" x 12"

    Hey Trev..

There are pilots WAY better than me. I fly Scale, no aerobatics (my machines don't like aerobatics!!). Just like the Violin or juggling, they take perseverance and practice. I have been flying Helis for 40+ yrs now..
