- jbkiwiFleet AdmiralHi Phil, been wanting to do that for a few years, but haven't found a cheap enough set yet. I've struggled with trying to position one boat with a camera, behind or beside the subject etc, while trying to drive 2 boats at once. One thing I was thinking of, was to put the camera on a 360Deg gimbal so you can rotate it and follow something, rather than have to constantly re-position the whole camera boat to keep the subject in frame.Hi Phil, been wanting to do that for a few years, but haven't found a cheap enough set yet. JB - wunwingloPetty Officer 1st ClassHI All,HI All, Just calling in to say that I have not finished this little model yet, large due to Christmas and the like. However, I am now back on it and it should not take long now. During the down time on it, I have decided not mount it on a stand but to make a boat trailor for it and have acquired a suitably-sized RangeRover, R/C to launch it into the lake from our slipway. Also, I have decided to use a gearbox, one motor, two screws as space and weight were both getting tight. So it will be fitted with two motors direct drive.

- jbkiwiFleet AdmiralDon't know if you have this Garth, ? did you get any instructions with the unit, and are you able to manually change the sounds? Some of the truck sounds may be useful if they are on your unit. If you need the manual calibration and manual setting instructions, let me know.Don't know if you have this Garth, ? did you get any instructions with the unit, and are you able to manually change the sounds? Strikes me that the Buxton club has some extremely good model builders.'Baltic Trader' really good looking ship, I do like these small traditional cargo ships. Graham started his latest project 6 months ago at the beginning of second lock down.
A truly magnificent working model example of engineering, woodworking, electronics perseverance and total dedication ! - I am sure all will agree !.

- jbkiwiFleet AdmiralNice job with the video Phil, especially liked the 'over the rail' shots of the deck and gear. Graham's done a brilliant job on her, and she looks to be sailing very nicely.Nice job with the video Phil, especially liked the 'over the rail' shots of the deck and gear. - jbkiwiFleet AdmiralGood to see the boat with Graham there, gives an idea of scale. Quite a bit larger than I imagined but should handle the bigger stuff. Looks so realistic in the bow close-ups.Good to see the boat with Graham there, gives an idea of scale. Quite a bit larger than I imagined but should handle the bigger stuff.
