The key is to photograph from close to the water level, somewhere I can see but not reach any more.

Back on the lake again tonight. Ballast and trim apparently sorted out now, hopefully no more " undersea exploring"😂

Today at Little Radford MBC
Dave and I agreed that today was not going to be a lifeboat day so my Aero Naut Classic and Dave’s Fairey Huntsman and cabin cruiser had a trip out. My DF65 also got its keel wet but I didn’t get pictures of that.

I was with friends at Hoylake boating lake yesterday and one of them has a Fairey Huntsman kit to build without instructions. Does Dave have the build instructions for his by any chance, such that he could share the information with us? So his kit can be built without too much guess work.

Found these at an Estate Sale today......
I need to stay off the internet, LOL
Noticed an ad for an Estate Sale. I went, I looked, and found (i.e. bought).
The Midwest Rowing Dinghy, Canadian Canoe, and Chesapeake Double Kayak are all nice boats.
They will look nice in a Diarama or just on display in my Home Office or Family Room.
I plan to do some work on the Cranberry Isle Lobster Yacht. It was not built/finished to run.
I'd like to open it up and put running gear and electronics in it to make it a working RC.
The front opens to access where the motor and electronics would go, but the rear is sealed tight with no access to attach a servo to the rudder.
Does anybody know where I could download the plans/instructions for this boat? I would like to see how the rear is constructed before attacking it.
Thanks for the help!

I hope that this helps; the plans show the rudder servo forward of the frame but I think it is better close to the rudder control arm. I use a NiMH battery laying beside the stuffing box and a counter weight on the opposite side. The original builder put a Y battery harness in so the boat could run off of two batteries for a longer duration. I just use one so as to give the brushed motor a rest .

Brede’s, Mersey & Watson
This week at Little Radford MBC we had two versions of RNLB Inner Wheel, RNLB The Princes Royal (Civil Service No41) and RNLB Elizabeth Rippon out and about they were accompanied by an Aerokits Diva and a RNLI Jet Ski.
I didn’t get the phone position quite right for the best quality photos.

Sailing on Warminster lake
A long unedited video of the boats on Warminster lake taken from my HA Kits Thames slipper launch. The GoPro hero 9 has image stabilisation so some pretty boats to practice chasing and getting in the frame.

Jimwilder Tug diesel sound generator
I wanted to find a cheep Diesel sound generator looked around and found one It's not very load but sounds pretty good for around $ 16.00 Canadian. P/S it's been a few months since I worked on the tug and man is it dusty. Next chore cleaning off all the dust.

Sounds very authentic. Does it increase in sound as you open the throttle? That would be cool if it did. I need one for a v8 for my model of Thunderbolt. Do you know if one is offered? Cheers Ian.
