I can never do that do that. How do you trim the balsa and then rub it down to shape. I have picked up a 48" Perkasa Hull from a Boot Fair and the Balsa nose end blocks are a total mess. I have got to try to put them right. I think they are the sort of mess I would make.In the past the thing I usually do is recut a new hull base and side skins in ply and extend them and not use a balsa block. I am not too sure how I would get around the bow end on this hull with ply but I would give it a good try but but wether it would have the correct shape or not is another thing.

I think a 360-web cam around this particular platform would be great. We are right on the edge of the shipping lanes. Could be like those train guys, cough cough, uh I wouldn't know anything about that.

"Venetian Evening Sailing"
Held this year on 30th of October 2022, the "Venetian Night Sailing" is an annual event which is always popular amongst Buxton Model Boat Club members and the local community.

Very sorry our local member Graham93 couldn`t be with us due to unforeseen circumstances.

Graham, look forward to seeing you back soon with "Bill & Ben" and maybe "Kayak Kev" !!!.

Land Yacht Project
Just a fun project to use up some old radio gear , single for steering only, or two channel if you want to include a sail winch.
Great for when the pond is full of weed - Also if no wind , stick a motor on the front or back !.
Just have fun !

CreweMBC live Steam TID Tug by Brian Clewes sailing at Boundary Park
Managed to capture some video of Brian Clewes' live steam TID tug on the lake this Wednesday 19 October. First chance for a proper sail and a bit more ballast needed.

Using the camera boats
Using the camera boats, we have a montage of clips here which help to appreciate the many variables between cameras and conditions around the lake at different times of the year.
