True Balou
This pond yacht was bought for me by my daughter in a pretty poor condition from a car boot sale, I decided to tidy it up and give it back to her as a model for her home. 'True Balou' was her much loved 'Staffie'.

Nautic
Model Yacht Nautic from Grapner.
The hull is not original but is made of laminate. The deck is made of mahogany strips.
The boat engine is a MIG 480 powered by a Lipol 7,4V 5000mAh battery.

    Nice job👍 Beautiful decking!
Crazing on the white hull looks similar to the problem I had with the clear lacquer on my Sea Scout. Surface stress?🤔
What did you use for paint / lacquer?

In July 2015 the 26ft Firefly sailed from Ramsgate to Dunkirk with a fleet of some 50 other Members of the Association of Dunkirk Little Ships to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the evacuation.
These little ships have an admiralty warrant to fly the St Geoge's Cross at the stemhead, a unique honour! (google images have lots of pics of her)
    Lovely model............Lemmerhengst

Krampus Yachts
Some of my boats during a last weekend outing. Boats are at My Harbour. The blue boat (Fishfully Thinking") is based upon American-made Chris Craft 30 Tournament Fisherman, Stamas 32 sedan, and Bertram 28 boats. The yellow boat ("Cheapskate") is partially based upon a Bertram 31 sedan. The white vessel ("Juyilanga") was inspired on now defunct company's Uniflite 28-footer "Salty Dog" sport fisherman. Last but not least, the pink boat ("Pinkey Pie") belongs to my daughter and was built using an old Graupner kit inspired on a Chris Craft Roamer of the mid 60s. 😁

    Nice Krampus 👍
Do I see the result of the plan we made in the "Juyilanga" ? Turned out very well 😉
    Cheers Doug 😎

Hello Doug! Actually, not in Juyilanga but in Fishfull Thinking. I took a line here and there from our plan for the superstructure. I utilized ABS plastic instead of wood. No need to mess with fiberglassing and no cracking on the Alpine cold waters. Notice that I used the same type of hull on these two boats. Happens that Fishfull Thinking was originally another boat I had, but not happy with the superstructure, I rebuilt the whole thing but kept its fiberglass hull almost intact. Both hulls were home made by a guy in California. 😁

A 3 boat rowing rescue - a yacht that lost radio link, a rescue tug that got tangled in it's own rescue rope, and a stranded motor launch!

Moonlight
This free sailing pond yacht has remained a treasured model from childhood. it “escaped” one holiday and sailed out across the bay at Tenby. it was retrieved a mile out to sea by persuading local boatman to pick it up. Hull carved and hollowed from wood. Must be well over 100 years old now. Sails well without rudder fitted.

Downeast Lobster Yacht
http://ellisboat.com/bunker-and-ellis-downeast-boatbuilders/
The Ellis boats must have been the inspiration for this old kit from Midwest. I bought the boat as seen in the first photos which was built by Don Sutton, Metro Modellers Toronto, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
He knew I had my eye on making one from scratch and offered me a fair price to buy his boat.
I am now adding the hard cover over the cockpit as seen on many of the Bunker & Ellis boats.
Previously I added deck furniture to the helm and passenger. Also found the near scale figures.
My plan is to add the forward railing around the bow; add deck boards and more furnishings such as two step boarding ladder, navigation equipment, and possible a fresh coat of paint to the hull.

Enterprise K91 8 Rater
This is an 8 rater built by the dabblers club and been through a few owners at Chichester model boat group. These yachts are superb at ploughing over the odd bit of weed without it getting stuck on the keel. There are many of these in the group,

Your keel shape is a bit longer but very similar Here is some info I have gleaned.

Full scale 8 Metre boats - meaning 8 metres at the waterline - go back to around 1907 and they proved extremely popular with around 140 being built around Europe during the first seven years alone. it was a time of very rapid boat development and equally rapid evolution of class rules. At one stage 'Metre Boats' were allowed one foot of beam for every metre of waterline length, a possibly unique combination of metric and imperial in an international Rule.

Current 8M boats derive from a model obtained 5-10 years ago by Robin Edgar and Alan Woodroffe of the Southwater Dabblers MBC who thought it was based on a J-Class. However, it was later found that what they had was a model of a Fife 8 Metre instead. in any event, the boat remained of great interest because the hull shape and relatively low draught makes it an excellent choice for shallow waters and especially for ponds with bad weed. They used the model to create some 50+ hulls.

Can you tell me more about your mini 12
