A Freebie that has been cleaned and sails well knock on the and a lady asked the wife was I the person who made model boats in the village.
If not taken would be put in the dustbin with all receivers and engines etc. All bridge and last broken and hull solo on the stern prop shafts holding it all together.

Thank for the comment as I am really chuffed about this freebie. the person who gave it to me had one condition for me to have it if I put on show that I would put a plaque by it saying that her father in law made it. As she new I would show it at the local vintage show in the village. It was a problem when I first put on the lake sailing it as it would only steer to starb'd soon sorted with help . all is as original as was made except the repairs and giving it a crew and a few lights for night sailing thanks to one of the cheap shops and strings of lights with seperate batteries .Now looks on the pond.
