She looks beautiful. I have those plans from Model Builder and the drawing of the tug when she was in Army service.
I intend to build a model of the Edward H that was a civilian conversion of the Army Core of Engineers tug Forney, which was an 85’ ST. The Forney had been modified to have the second deck level run around the front of the pilot house.
When I started this project, Forney had just been sold to the newly formed Heritage Marine at Knife River. I was able to get in contact with the Owner, Mike Sojard, who had some extra pictures taken for me.
Things were going fine until a back injury literally took me off my feet, and out of a job. Time has also changed for Edward H, too, for it has been sold and replaced by a larger tug that now has its name.
I have been improving, but have to create some work space and finish another project or two that are also on my list.
