About this boat

Hi folks here is my HMS Tiger, which is fictional warship, I made up a class of ship, the type 44 destroyer.

It is based on a Glynn Guest design from Model Boats Magazine, which was the USS Hibbard plan, which should of been a stand off scale Arleigh Burke destroyer!

    I'm sure Doug will put me right if I'm wrong but wasn't there an HMS Tiger built or proposed at then end of WW2, Superb class, or SuperB as she was known to the matelots. Lion was another.

    Hi Colin, thanks for your message, yes the boat below is another build from model boat plans of a fletcher class destroyer, again it's semi scale so looks good on the water but not loads of detail, she has been retired as the old girl leaks!
