Hi everyone, some photos of my Veron trawler circa late 1960's which I was given to complete by a friend who was no longer able to finish it due to health issues. Had been sat in his left for at least 20 years. The mice had enjoyed the build plans plus some of the ship. Diesel engine was seized and wiring shot, age and mice related.
What a lovely project. It looks as though you have sufficient information to be able to complete the boat.
Sure, the internal stuff needs to be stripped out, but that is when you start to discover exactly what you are dealing with. You can then enjoy the delights of installing new equipment and seeing her perform.
Good luck with the project, and we look forward to seeing it on the water.😉
Hi Colin,
I noticed the Taycol as well, looks like a 'Target' to me.
Same as the one I converted a few years ago to run forward and reverse off a modern ESC.
Cheers, Doug 😎
Good restoration, looks good on the water, what motor is in her now.
I see in your pictures that you have a taycol as well as the diesel. If they are looking to be rehomed I would be really interested.
Cheers Colin.
