Buy the time July arrives the weeds are bad and they sometimes snag our scale models. This is a 3D printed (recovery/retrieval) boat made from a file at "Thingiverse ". Using a Hobbywing Rock Crawler motor for instance reverse makes backing up easy for a recovery. Two "Y" cables added to servos under the Pilot's seat work in conjunction with throttle and rudder give the illusion of the sticks operating the boat. Now just looking for a comical pilot!

That looks like a good design.
I really need to build a retrieval boat but have not done so yet.
I think it would be a good "stickey" to have a forum dedicated to different retrieval designs.
I have seen a few but I bet there are dozens of designs out there.
