This is a scratch built model from photos of the real thing that used to run in the Liverpool Dock areas and a tour round the city until they were withdrawn in 2013. The model is made from 1/8 and 1/16 ply and differential drives from wrecked model cars. The wheels are also recovered from kids model cars. The model operates on water and on land using two different drive systems and motors. A 4 channel 2.4 Ghz radio is used. One joystick operating rudder and prop the other joystick operating the steering and 6 wheel drive to road wheels. This is the second DUKW I have built, the first one was a bit smaller and has now been sold. (Motor: Electric ) (ESC: Vipers) (7/10)
