About this boat

Aquired this boat some time ago I take it its some form of kit deck fitings have the look of a home made one 7.4 volt
I have since found out in the late 1950s Richmond boats made models of there actual Cabin crusiers for there customers children 24 was made in all so in every thing a bit of history boat story comes out

Stephen, your earlier posting said this model was from the 1950’s. Am I correct?

If so, the paint would be oil based is my best guess. Do you have a reliable paint retailer in your area where you could bring the model?

I would not recommend trying to repair it without some professional advice.

Well today soon after this photo was taken the old Robie 8.4 motor went out so I have replaced it with a 600 motor and 12v, not a fan of brushless motors

At first I thought it was an old Graupner kit, might just be a scratch build. Either way it’s super nice!!!!
