   Doug, weren't you taught to wash your hands after applying carpenter's glue to "micro" ropes when you were little?

   Hi Lew, neat idea with the carpenters glue (aka PVA).
   BUT: Re "take some watered down carpenters glue and rub it into the lines (between fingers). Super glue will work too but will darken the lines."
   Don't fancy that🤔 I'd end up with me fingers stuck to the boat and get pulled into the lake☹️

   Awesome! Very nice little boat.
   Just a thought. If you need more fish, take rice and spray it silver, then flip it over and spray it black. I will post a photo to show a bit later on.
   For my scale models its pilchards.😆

    Congratulations on your first boat! Looks nice! Hint: Want to stiffen up those lines (ropes)? Pull them tight and take some watered down carpenters glue and rub it into the lines (between fingers). Super glue will work too but will darken the lines.
