Michel!!! That little brass crab has a back that flips up and was an ashtray which my dad would fill with butts in no time at all.
67 years of three packs a day. Yikes!
The doctors at the Veteran’s Hispital asked him to donate his lungs to science.
Mike:
That picture reminds me when I was building my model.
I really enjoyed building this beautiful looking model.
Finish it.
I’ll like to see how it turns out.
😎😎
Hello Garth, Chugalone and JumpUgly!
What beautiful specimens you have in your harbour, JumpUgly !?!?
But what on earth is the twin brother of my crab doing in your harbour?

What you can see in the photos!
Greetings Michel-C.
She’s a beauty Garth! Is she the Midwest or Bluejacket version of the Muscongus Bay Lobster Smack or perhaps she's the Bluejacket Friendship Sloop? The Friendship was based on the Smack, hence the similarities. Let us know.
😊
Bluejacket still produces a large scale rc version (46" long!) of the Smack and a 31" long Friendship.
Here is the 46" Smack my father started and I finished for him... covered in dust and mouse droppings at my grandfather’s garage.
It's still there and I've since cleaned it up, but is on my "to-do" restoration list for this year.
😉👍🏻

I hand sculpted and pint the eagle and the swirls.
