   Hi Pat,
   
   I sold my various fishing boats and tugs several years ago as they were getting too heavy for me to launch as I got older.
   
   I really enjoyed them, but they needed so much ballast to get them down to a scale like water line that they all become so much heavier than the Classic Model Power Boats that I enjoy building, restoring, and driving now.
   
   My Classic Model Power Boats are seldom more than a metre long and they can all be safely lifted in and out of my car and launched much more easily.
   
   I enjoy recreating the models that I used to see every week back in the late 1950’s onwards, so working with these Classic Model Power Boats is not really a handicap for me in any case.
   
   I look forward to seeing you at the Southport Club lake in the future, and I would be happy to help you launch or recover any of your new fleet of smaller boats anytime you need a hand with them.
