About this boat

I bought this '90s boat as a basket case and completely re-built it. The hull shell/frames, main deck and cabin sides are the only original parts.

@LewZ wow! I'll look into that. She'll join Angel's Gate in LA, and ST-488 in Le Havre as museum/display STs. There are some others, like Joanne Krause, but I think she may be slipping away due to neglect. I do love this design of tug.

Interesting! One of the members of our club (SSMBC), Howard, his father was a welder at one of the shipyards here in Florida and was on the crew building some of the "ST" tugs here in Deland, Florida. About three years ago a real one was moved back from Stockholm to Deland, and awaiting funding for a permanent drydock then display.

The tug as the ST-479 "Tiger" and if you want to see some modern videos of it here is one: . For more, search on "ST-479 Tiger Florida".
