   HI Thats really interesting my Dad got to Australia in WW2 in the Navy he meet a girl out there and many others round the world i have a model of his ship mine sweeper had a refit in Liverpool . He was a great Dad he got me into model planes then boats we had so much fun time goes so fast these days are there good model shops out there or do you use Ebay i get all my stuff off ebay no model shops left i like to have a look round on a saturday how thing have changed.    HI Sid Magul just across the water do you ever get back? All are clubs are old boys getting less every year . Have you heard of Star yachts they were pond yachts made in Birkenhead England just down the road from were i live the factory has gone but they went all over the world my friend frank is the only family member left he ran the factory for 30 years.    HI Sid Im in the UK whats the model boat scene like out there? i live near Liverpool on west coast not many boating lakes where i am my lake has no water in it we have a water shortage here so done no sailing this year had new boats to test out have to wait till winter we missed all good weather.    Thats great...we will be doing a few trips up to the central coast over the next couple of years so hoping to see you at one of your sail days. Unfortunately this trip starting tomorrow only gives uo 2 days in syd before heading up tp southern nsw. Will advise, would be nice to meet you
