Just got my self a set of plans.
First time I'm going to have a go at making this model.
Any tips on planking or making the hull.
Cheer 👍
Yours Dave
Like you i have been "laid-up" for a while, not by my choice, but the clock is ticking and we all must abide to the rules in one way or another. Plus i,m now in trouble, been caught looking through my Model Boat Plans Handbook Ha Ha ! But i have a few Manufacturing mistakes to rectify first on other constructions, boats of course. Thank you again, i have enjoyed the pics and Vid's, most enjoyable.. Regards Muddy..
I have only just started using this site again after quite a long break so I'm a bit hazy as to how it all works. My Vic Smeed boats are in the Harbour section which I happened to look all the way through yesterday (time on my hands!) I had forgotten they were there. They are quite early, about seven years ago. Perhaps if you click on my profile you would find my 'harbour'.
Failing that I have a little website I describe my boats on at www.ian'smodelboats.weeb!y.com
I have put a link in the box-I hope it works. If you search Iansmodelboats you are bound to find it.Your little launch certainly looks to be going well. There have been quite a few recent versions of Silver Mist some very big and some small. I think it's one of Vic's nicest designs
All the best,
Ian
Thank you again.. Happy Sailing.
