Pete Spencer sent these photos July 1, 2024, of what he has done since I last visited him in Port Dover, Ontario.

No new engine, or other below deck major items, just above deck improvements. With these tugs the various tow lines are stowed in a locker below the aft deck. To get into it requires removing a number of bolts, the lift the hatch cover, remove the required length of line, then replace the cove insuring it’s seals are in place & replace all the bolts.

Pete built a shelf for over the engine room that holds his lines, a pump, gas container, fire control items, and life raft.

My wife and I are in Tofino, BC where we had the privilege of boarding and taking a harbour cruise on the Beamsville a Ville Class tugboat built in 1944 by the RusselBrothers of Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada.🙄🙄
