It’s great to see another fishing boat being made! Well done she looks good! However now the maiden trip has been done the fishing boat will be dirty in real life... I do hope you add some wear n tear!!

Thank you yes I have used that and curtain mesh but knitting them it's part of the fun the eye is the pain hard on my eyes to 👍

Sorry Doug, we haven't touched the coracle, all she needs is a couple of patches. The garden room/radio shack is coming on well , or would be if only the rain would let up. Most of the onduline covering is on the roof and there is still some cladding to do. Alice's latest toy was delivered last Friday, the long desired milk float, but that will have to wait whilst the shed and it's twin, (the boat storage facility) are built.

    "knitting 10mm mash is slow"
    Is that sour mash Catman?
Or does knitting it just make you sour?😁😂 Knit one, pearl one, drop one 💥😠😭
What size needle do you use?
Joking aside (as if I could😉), nice job, look forward to the detailing cos it could help me with my fish cutter - new ground for me!
    Cheers, Doug 😎

"which is why Alice acquired her waders."
Aha!😊 Every story tells a picture, in my hyperactive imagination at least😉
How's it going with the coracle refurb by the way?
S'pose my Round Tuit didn't help much in competition with all the real estate our Alice Oakley of the Toolbox is building😔😁 Here's another one in case Alice "lost" the first one 🙄
More power to your elbows to you both 👍
    Cheers, Doug 😎

Yep, I collect those as well Martin👍
The red ones (onions!) are good for fishing boats, the rarer black or white ones (garlic and similar size exotica) with a finer mesh I get from Gisela and save for around flight decks on my naval ships. PS Gonna need quite a lot o dem for my USS Enterprise and HMS Ark Royal; safety and crash nets!
    Cheers, Doug 😎

Nice little fishing boat, very much like one I built from an Aeronaut kit. In fact, the first model boat I built. Problem with her was that our lake is invariably a bit on the rough side and she got swamped twice, which is why Alice acquired her waders.
