The scale is 1:118 or for ease of working out 1:120 (50 inches x 8½) Twin rudders and propellers, 2 x 550 motors, homemade 2 x radars, bow thruster and horn sound system. running on either 6 or 12-volt. New lighting LED's are 3-volt and total 36. The only plans I draw are the ships frames. The superstructure is quite easy to make to the scale by simply using a ruler and a good quality photograph. The bow is Bread & Butter and the rest is ply with a plastic outer covering. A lot of scrap wood is used in all my ships. Runs on four-channel.
Wonderful boat you built.Do you draw plans before the build of the boat. What scale is the boat.I know a lot of questions it blows me away just amazing the build and without plans to work from.

Thank you, I sailed on the ship many times and P & O kindly gave me the LxB and also side, bow and stern photographs. I will put some construction pictures on and scale later. I have just changed all the lighting (Grain of Wheat bulbs) to LED's much better. All my boats have been built in the same way with no plans, I'll put them on, again later. A winter project I did to pass the time was a container deck for the Suffolk although not a container ship she did have a few on but close to the superstructure. Here's a photo of my version.

Well done.
Did you take photos as you were making it ?
If so it will be good to see how you made it.
