A scale model of a Bristol Channel Pilot Cutter built from the Chris Brown hull and plan. Uses a lever winch to control the main sheet. The fore sails are free setting. Sails in a realistic fashion and with a good blow looks very realistic ploughing through the waves. The motor is only used to help avoid the numerous weed patches that populate our lake. Ballast is 6.1Kg lead placed Outside on a detachable keel attached to the middle of hull. Overall weight 6.5Kg (Motor: MMD 555) (ESC: Mtronic) (8/10)
