Scratch built from photographs. The forward gun traverses via a servo and the searchlights are bright LEDs (4½v). Also a homemade "whoop" sound system.
Wow very impressed.
Any chance you can put post together on how to do this.
A list of parts, circuit diagrams, etc.
and how do you produce the sound.
Thanks
As for the sound system, I designed it myself and the Whoop, whoop comes via a miniature stereo amp using either one or two speakers. The bigger ships have a more powerful amp and horn. This video clip is me testing and apologies for the shaky film as I had the transmitter in one hand and camera in the other. I really like the echo in part of the clip. Baz.
I do have some photos somewhere in the bowels of this computer, Roy, but they are not in my boat folders? The hull is actually a Thames Cabin Cruiser I built in the '70s (enclosed is a photo of it) as for the MTB superstructure it is constructed from a very thin plastic sheet, which I also incorporate in my other vessels but different gauges for those. The four torpedo tubes are again just plastic tubes I came across. Baz.
I love MTBs, this one I have not seen before, any chance of uploading some of the photos you used to build her.
Th Whoop whoop sound must be great on the pond.
Regards Roy
