The yacht my Uncle has is about 5 feet long, about 8-10 inches draught and the mast is about a meter tall (sorry for the mix of imperial and metric, that's just how I work sometimes 🙄)
so yes, I know exactly what you by that.
Lovely to see on the water when they're that sort of size though.
hi chaps as far as l know they are small scale versions of the ocean going racer,s of the eighties.
l wouldnt recomend anything this large as your first sailboat tis a little awkward moving it around on occasion. l use a 4 wheeled garden trolley to access our pond.
Pick yourself up a second hand sail boat from somthing like e bay then sit at the side of your prefered piece of water and seriously relax and chill out.
My Uncle has a scale rc yacht which is lovely to sail.
I'm sure the racing ones are great to sail as well, but they just don't appeal to me like a scale version does.

I don't especially fancy any sort of racing yacht, but I do like the look of your scale (or semi-scale?) yachts.
Do you know what types they are...I could be tempted to find something in the future.........
Bob.
