Hoylake Model Boat Club was formed on 1st October, 2009 and is now in it's tenth year.
The club endeavours to bring together members for the purpose of exchanging ideas and opinions on subjects connected with the designing, constructing, testing and sailing of model boats. People of all ages are encouraged to join, and it thinks of itself as a FUN club. If you want serious competitions and to take what we consider to be a light hearted hobby, very seriously then this is not the club for you. This is a FUN club.We try to make the hobby an enjoyable social experience.
We normally hold our meetings at:-
Saughall Hotel Saughall Rd Moreton Wirral CH46 5ND Postponed during the Pandemic.
We meet every Wednesday down at the lake at about 10.30am and go on for our lunch at the Saughall Pub at about 12.30pm.
During the winter months and bad weather on Wednesdays,we meet at the lake or in the Community Centre by the lake and proceed to a local hostelry at about noon for a light lunch and a natter . All members are welcome.
The membership fee is £10 and £15 for family membership.
