Hi Andy.
Firstly may I say what a cracking job you are making with your models.
I am genuinely impressed with both your builds and enthusiasm.
My second reason for sending you a PM is because as a site moderator I want to gauge your feelings with regards to a couple of messages that have been sent to you from Doug that are in my opinion rude and out of order.
I know that Martin,one of the other moderators feels the same.
Whilst I do not want upset the Apple cart it is important that people are treated appropriately on our site and I am of the opinion that Doug is overstepping the Mark.
I personally would have been offended by the comment he made yesterday in the “This week I bought” thread.with regard to your planking and also the shopping list.
I would be grateful for your thoughts in confidence between us by Private message please.
I assure you this is NOT a witch hunt.

Yes your right and Doug can and does go over the top which has and does upset some people.
Martin and I are hoping to resolve the issue amicably.

In the meantime keep at the boats.
Glad to see you had great service from CMB. I use them regularly and they are brilliant.I am lucky enough to live close enough to have called in to them in the past when I have had an emergency need !.

No need to apologise.
As soon as i saw the thread i could see what was going to happen.
I did not delete it straight away so that you had the chance to reply.
It is a little odd as to why Redpmg posted the thread in the first place.
I know some of his views do not sit right with some of the other members.

There are a few members that post on other forums and they don't always use the same names so Rightly or wrongly I assumed that you and he must of had a falling out before.
Whilst i am sending this PM I must say i admire your model making skills and your models are fantastic.

Keep the posts coming and maybe explain a little more about the processes of what you are doing.

I have never been a member of model boat mayhem.
Altho i have looked at it from time to time and i have noticed that some of the comments and posts do get a bit out of hand.
That is why i never became a member.
Luckily we don't normally get that sort if thing happing here on this site.
