Hi, could you calculate the sail for me using the standard Dragonforce sail area? I had to tilt the mast aft on another boat, and it works great now also used dragonforce sails.

Hi Roy, the main body of the motor is 80 mm and about 45mm wide, it has two output shafts a straight through one and a reduced speed one that the propshaft is connected to.
The sticker on top is unreadable so no idea personally
I hope that helps identify it
Take care
Bryan

Yes mine has two screws in the output end. It turns when you turn either shaft so will hopefully work once I get the battery. Ive not heard of these before but am fairly new to rc boating as I was far too young in 1967.

What do you have in your harbour? I see nothing posted.

Royce,
If I sent to you the sail plan would you be able to calculate the amount of ballast needed for my vessel? Math is not one of my strengths🤔

I glued 3lbs inside the hull of lead pellets and on the exterior there is a 1/2”x1/2” sq bar 12” long, screwed into the oak keel.
There will not be a centre keel board with a bulb at the bottom because of the weeds found in our lakes and ponds.
Those four sq.bars taped in position bring the sight to 9.4lbs.
5.1/4” draft
4 1/2” waterline to boom
Main mast from deck to top 24 1/2”
Fore mast 20 1/2”
The sails measure:
Main
Foot 11 1/2”
Leech 19”
Luff from tack to throat 14 1/2”
Head peak to throat 7 3/4”
Fore sail
8” Foot
13” Leach
11 1/4” Luff
7” Head
Jib
8” Foot
18” Leach
16” Luff
