I'm not really sure. it seems there are two clubs both on the same lake! I think both still exist... I got the event off mayhem this morning which is when I first noticed and had the same thoughts as you. Pretty sure they'll be boats on the water though.

This appears to be at the New Brighton lifeboat station. is this a spin off club from the New Brighton MBC? is there sailing of model boats on the model boat lake?
